Bernstein (re)surfaces

Just reporting that Mel Bernstein and I had a wonderful lunch and renewed old memories. Mel is now running an advertising company in Mass. along with his wife, Carol. He has two boys and he is expecting to be a grandfather in the near future.

Mel was a program manager for Channel 4 here in Boston for 7 years, than went to work for Gov. Sargent as a PR person for the prisons (was held hostage for 37 hours). He than became news director at Channel 7 for four years. He then ran a shoe company for four years before going to work as a partner in an advertising firm. Fifteen years ago he went on his own and his happy working on advertising especially for shoe and real estate companies.

He’s looking great and can’t wait to next reunion in 2005.
